2023年4月3日，日本消费者厅修订并发布了《加工食品的食物过敏标记手册》。主要内容包括：食物过敏的相关知识、食物过敏原标识的必要行、特定原材料的标识范围、标识制作、食品过敏原标识范例、消费者应对措施以及参考资料等。食品标识标准规定了加工食品、生鲜食品以及食品添加剂的表示方法，并要求销售的食品必须按照食品标识标准进行标识。
