2023年2月6日，加拿大卫生部发布NOM/ADM-0193号文件，拟修订允许使用的食品酶清单，批准来自枯草芽孢杆菌DH617的乳糖酶（lactase）用于低乳糖酶制剂和部分乳制品。

据了解，目前加拿大已批准其他来源的乳糖酶用于低乳糖酶制剂和部分乳制品。然而，尚未批准枯草芽孢杆菌DH617作为任何酶的来源生物。

此次修订自2023年2月6日起生效。
