据美国联邦公报消息，2022年11月8日，美国环保署发布2022-23997号条例，豁免乙酸-2-乙基己酯（Acetic Acid, 2-Ethylhexyl Ester）的残留限量。

据条例，当乙酸-2-乙基己酯作为农药制剂中的惰性成分用于生长作物，且浓度不超过50%，豁免其残留限量。

此规定自2022年11月8日起生效，反对或听证请求需在2023年1月9日前提交申请。
