2022年10月14日，澳新食品标准局（FSANZ）发布217-22号通知，其中A1255号申请，就一种α-淀粉酶（Alpha-amylase）作为加工助剂进行意见征求。

据通知，该α-淀粉酶是由转基因枯草芽孢杆菌生产的，含有来自普通高温放线菌的α-淀粉酶基因，用于烘焙产品的生产中。意见征求截止日期为2022年11月25日下午6点（堪培拉时间）。
