8月30日，日本厚生劳动省发布生食发0830第1号公告称，现新增碳酸氢钾至《食品卫生法实施规则》别表1中，并修改《食品、添加剂等的规格基准》中乙螨唑、氟菌唑、萘乙酸、flometoquin、氯菊酯、灭草松、苯氧菌胺的残留限量标准，增加碳酸氢钾的成分规格及使用标准。
